Foreword

We heartily welcome you from a silvery whitish sandy land of Kyauk Phyu where the largest and only deep-sea port of Myanmar and the only one Education Degree College of Rakhine State are situated.

We are determined to try our utmost for the development of education level of Myanmar citizens as well as for the general public of Rakhine State.

To achieve success in teacher education, mastering the subject matters, teaching techniques and pedagogies and to widen the horizons of knowledge of our collegians is the main objective of our Degree College.

It is simply because American Educationalist, John Dewey said “No country can rise above the level of its teachers’’.
